Overview
Mi MIX 2 followsoriginal MIX with a smaller5.99-inch2160×1080 screen at 18:9, Snapdragon 835 and four-axis OIS. The original's6.4-inch17:9 display and piezoelectric earpiece must not be copied over.
Ceramic editions
Standard ceramic-back/metal-frame versions have 6 GB RAM and 64/128/256 GB flash, measuring 151.8×75.5×7.7 mm at 185 g. Full-ceramic special editions have 8/128 GB and a 150.5×74.6×7.7 mm,187 g body. Ceramic rear alone does not mean a ceramic frame.
The rear 12 MP camera is single, unlike later MIX 2S. The front camera stays below the screen. Maker global bands do not guarantee every local service.
Early firmware
Two contemporary units shared Android 7.1.1 but differed between global MIUI 8.5.1 and MIUI 9 beta. The samples do not establish one universal China factory patch. The illustration shows the standard ceramic-back edition; no retail day is inferred from a review date.
