Overview
Mi 5s Plus and Mi 5s were unveiled together on 27 September 2016. Plus uses a 5.7-inch Full HD screen, Snapdragon 821 up to 2.35 GHz, rear fingerprint reader and IR transmitter.
Camera and configurations
Its two rear cameras are 13 MP colour and 13 MP monochrome. They are not a wide/telephoto zoom pair, nor a single 26 MP camera. OIS is absent. The standard 4/64 GB and higher 6/128 GB configurations use LPDDR4 and UFS 2.0.
Battery capacity is 3800 mAh typical and 3700 mAh minimum. Contemporary software was Android 6.0 / MIUI 8. NFC hardware does not imply that every launch firmware already supported later transit and payment services. The original official three-view illustration remains intact.
