Overview
Xiaomi unveiled the 17 Pro Max on 25 September 2025 and began China sales on 27 September. It expands the Pro rear-display design to a 6.9-inch body with a larger battery, third-generation Shield Glass and larger-sensor periscope telephoto.
China-market hardware boundaries
China configurations are 12/512, 16/512 and 16 GB/1 TB. The body is 162.9 × 77.6 × 8.0 mm and 219 g. The front is a 6.9-inch 2608×1200 Super Pixel AMOLED and the rear display is 2.9-inch 976×596; both reach 120 Hz, with 3500-nit main-display peak brightness. The main screen uses Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0.
Imaging, charging and connectivity
Rear cameras are a 50 MP Light Fusion 950L main, 50 MP 1/2-inch 5× OIS light-gathering periscope and 50 MP autofocus ultrawide; the front camera is 50 MP autofocus. The 7500 mAh battery supports 100 W wired, 50 W wireless and 22.5 W reverse charging. USB 3.2 Gen 1 needs a separate compatible cable.
