Identity and version boundary

Xiaomi 12 Pro was unveiled in China on 28 December 2021 and entered first sale on 31 December. This record covers the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model. The Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition introduced in 2022 uses another platform and remains a separate candidate.

China configurations, body and display

China pairings are 8/128, 8/256 and 12/256 GB. Glass versions are 8.16 mm and 205 g; PU versions are 8.66 mm and 204 g. The 6.73-inch 3200×1440 LTPO AMOLED reaches 120 Hz refresh and 480 Hz touch sampling. Xiaomi's China specification does not name its cover-glass brand, so Victus is not copied from the standard Xiaomi 12.

Three 50 MP rear cameras

The 50 MP IMX707 main uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor, 24 mm-equivalent lens and OIS. A 50 MP portrait camera is 48 mm equivalent, approximately a 2× view, and the 50 MP ultrawide covers 115 degrees. This differs from Xiaomi 12's 50+13+5 MP array and is not the later Leica-branded generation.

Charging, software and region scope

Typical battery capacity is 4600 mAh. Surge P1 assists 120 W wired charging, alongside 50 W wireless and 10 W reverse wireless. The China package lists a power adapter. Launch software was Android 12 / MIUI 13.

The global firsthand review is used for common hardware, Android-base and no-formal-IP-rating cross-checks. China bands, capacities and packaging still come from China materials.
