Xiaomi MIX Fold 4

Overview

Xiaomi unveiled MIX Fold 4 on 19 July 2024 and began China sales on 23 July. It advances the book-style line with Keel Hinge 2.0, an all-carbon-fibre support structure, IPX8 and two-way satellite communication, distinct from the first clamshell MIX Flip.

China-market hardware boundaries

China configurations were 12/256, 16/512 and 16 GB/1 TB. It measures 159.37 × 143.3 × 4.59 mm open and 159.37 × 73.1 × 9.47 mm folded; glass finishes weigh 226 g and Dragon Scale Fiber 228 g. The 6.56-inch 2520×1080 cover and 7.98-inch 2488×2224 inner displays both reach 120 Hz and 3000 nits peak.

Imaging, charging and connectivity

Rear cameras are a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 main, 50 MP 47 mm floating telephoto, 10 MP 115 mm OIS periscope and 12 MP 15 mm ultrawide; the inner and cover displays each have a 16 MP camera. The 5100 mAh dual-cell battery supports 67 W wired, 50 W wireless and reverse wireless charging. USB 3.2 Gen 1 requires a separate compatible cable.
