Overview
Xiaomi unveiled MIX Flip on 19 July 2024 and began China sales on 23 July as its first clamshell foldable. Its two displays, hinge dimensions, dual cameras and wired-only charging are not inherited from the concurrently launched MIX Fold 4.
China-market hardware boundaries
China configurations were 12/256, 12/512 and 16 GB/1 TB. The body is 167.5 × 74.02 mm. Glass versions are 7.8/7.6 mm open, 15.99 mm folded and 192 g; Dragon Feather Fiber is 7.8 mm open, 16.19 mm folded and 190 g. The 6.86-inch 2912×1224 inner and 4.01-inch 1392×1208 cover displays both reach 120 Hz and 3000 nits peak.
Imaging, charging and connectivity
Rear cameras are a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 23 mm OIS main and 50 MP OV60A 47 mm floating telephoto; the front camera is a 32 MP OV32B. The 4780 mAh battery supports 67 W wired charging. Data is USB 2.0, with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and infrared. Xiaomi's China specification does not state an IP rating.
