Overview
China Mi 8 Youth, internationally Mi 8 Lite, uses Snapdragon 660 and a 6.26-inch IPS LCD. It is not SE's Snapdragon 710 AMOLED configuration.
China editions
The maker lists 4/64 GB in grey and 6/64 or 6/128 GB across three colours, with eMMC 5.1 rather than flagship UFS. Its 12 MP main plus 5 MP depth pair is not telephoto zoom. The 24 MP front camera's low-light pixel combination does not establish native 1.8 µm pixels in every mode.
Charging and firmware
QC3.0 handset support is distinct from the supplied 10 W adapter. The global review's hybrid microSD tray is not asserted for every China batch. Early software was Android 8.1 / MIUI 9.6; the China maker expressly says MIUI 10 and several camera modes came later through OTA.
