Overview
W800i pairs its orange-and-white Walkman identity with an autofocus camera, lens cover and Memory Stick expansion.
Period and variants
Hands-on coverage appeared in 2005; this is the original W800i and its exact first retail day is unverified. Music-only mode disables phone radios. Contemporary reviews include a 512MB bundled card, separate from internal storage.
Audio and data use Fast Port. The HPM-70 accessory provides a 3.5mm adapter socket, which is not a socket built into the phone. Its tri-band GSM/GPRS configuration differs from W810i’s quad-band GSM/EDGE.
