Overview
K800i brings Cyber-shot branding, a 3.2MP autofocus camera, xenon flash and BestPic to a phone with 3G video calls and M2 expansion.
Period and variants
A 2006 Cyber-shot handset, documented by a revised June white paper and July hands-on testing; the exact retail day is unverified. K800i has UMTS 2100MHz and differs from GSM/EDGE K790 variants.
Its xenon-lit still camera records only QCIF-class video. Expansion uses Memory Stick Micro (M2), not Duo. It supports A2DP and a front video-call camera. BestPic offers a choice of frames captured around the shutter press.
