Overview
E250 brings the slider form, VGA camera, MP3, FM radio, microSD and Bluetooth stereo audio to Samsung’s mass-market feature-phone range.
Period and variants
Samsung’s history table lists November 2006; the exact first retail day is unverified. Original SGH-E250 has GSM 900/1800/1900. Later regional models such as E250i and E250V require their own documentation.
The factory service manual specifies a 2-inch, 65K-colour TFT, Bluetooth 2.0 and tri-band radio. Its parts list specifies a 750mAh battery, whereas an early review sample had 800mAh; the table identifies the factory part rather than hiding the difference. Approximately 10MB is file space, with microSD separate. CPU clock and RAM are not inferred from component names. Wired audio, data and charging use Samsung’s proprietary connector.
