Overview
D900 brings Samsung’s slider to 12.9mm thickness while retaining QVGA, a 3MP autofocus camera, microSD, Bluetooth stereo audio and TV output.
Period and variants
Samsung’s history table records a July 2006 launch; an exact regional first retail day is unverified. This is Ultra Edition 12.9, original D900, which lacks FM radio. Later D900i features are separate.
Contemporary reviews report approximately 83–85g. GSMArena observed about 60MB file storage, while another early review reports about 80MB; the cause is unresolved and the table identifies the former test figure. Camera labels vary between 3 and 3.2MP, with the same 2048×1536 maximum image. Autofocus does not imply a two-stage shutter. Data, wired audio and TV accessories use Samsung’s proprietary connection.
