Redmi Note 4G (2014, single SIM)

Overview

The single-SIM 2014 Redmi Note 4G pairs Snapdragon 400 and 2 GB RAM with a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen, LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi. Original 185 g dimensions, 64 GB expansion, battery capacity definitions and regional radios are preserved.

Period and variants

The single-SIM Redmi Note 4G appears in contemporary announcement reporting on 6 August 2014. Its 5.5-inch 720p IPS and 13 MP / 5 MP cameras retain the first Note’s outline, while MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 brings four 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7 cores and Adreno 305. Memory is 2 GB LPDDR3 with 8 GB flash and official 64 GB expansion. Later telecom dual-SIM Note 4G, Note Prime and Note 2 configurations stay separate.

Dimensions and battery

The original global dimension illustration specifies 154 × 78.7 × 9.45 mm and 185 g; the announcement rounds depth to 9.5 mm. Global and mainland tables distinguish 3100 mAh rated/minimum from 3200 mAh typical capacity. Side keys, red navigation icons, a rear speaker grille and removable cover preserve the period design. The original port diagram explicitly labels USB OTG.

Regional radios and software

Global originals list LTE 1/2/3/4/7 and WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100. The Hong Kong table adds WCDMA 1800, conflicting with global/mainland lists and remaining unconfirmed. Mainland mobile and unicom variants have separate TD/FDD-LTE and 3G tables. Dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and global/mainland GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou are source-scoped. Launch-era Android 4.4 / MIUI 5 is distinct from the later mainland page’s MIUI 6 revision.

The autofocus rear camera has f/2.2 and a 28 mm-equivalent lens; regional tables specify f/2.4 for the front. Rear 1080p and front 720p recording are distinct from eight-photo-per-second burst and playback 30 fps. Two original global product illustrations show exterior and dimensions. The source gives no separate image licence, and this archive retains downloaded bytes.
