N82

Overview

N82 pairs a 5MP Carl Zeiss autofocus camera and xenon flash with VGA recording, Wi-Fi, assisted GPS and automatic screen rotation.

Period and variants

Nokia introduced N82 on 14 November 2007 and stated that it was already available in key markets. An exact regional first retail day is unverified. Network specifications describe UMTS-capable RM-313; regional models such as RM-314 require their own identification.

The xenon unit lights still photographs; the autofocus assist lamp is separate. Approximately 100MB is user file space, while 128MB is RAM. A bundled 2GB card and an early service-manual entry do not establish a lifetime expansion limit. Contemporary testing documents larger cards, so no unconfirmed maximum is imposed.
