Overview
The original GSM RAZR V3 is distinguished by its thin metal clamshell, etched keypad and two displays.
Period and variants
Announced 27 July 2004; the exact first retail day remains unverified. This record covers the original quad-band GSM version. V3c and V3x require separate records.
Its VGA camera and lack of a card slot distinguish it from V3i. Video recording depends on firmware: early documentation describes playback, while a later retail review includes capture. The original battery specification was 680mAh; the later reviewed black unit had 710mAh.
