Overview
The 2012 One X pairs a polycarbonate unibody with a 4.7-inch 720p display and HTC ImageSense. This archive uses the international Tegra 3 configuration and distinguishes the AT&T LTE variant.
Period and variants
The English release is dated 26 February 2012 and the Taiwan release 27 February. Both schedule regional shipping from April rather than proving a universal first-sale day. Android 4.0 and Sense 4 describe introduction; later updates are separate. One X+ and One XL retain separate identities.
Tegra 3 combines four performance cores with a companion core used for lower-power tasks. The announcement separately describes Snapdragon S4 for LTE markets; the AT&T hardware review confirms a dual-core processor and 16 GB storage instead of the international 32 GB configuration.
The closed design has no microSD slot or normally removable battery. ImageSense supports still capture during video; Beats processing does not add front stereo speakers. MHL needs an external adapter. The period two-year Dropbox promotion is cloud space rather than internal storage. A shop security fixture in the third photograph is external equipment.
