Honor 3C

Overview

Honor 3C pairs a 5-inch 720p display, MT6582, dual SIM and a replaceable 2300 mAh battery. China launch and export configurations retain separate memory and camera definitions, supported by the original guide.

Period and variants

Honor 3C belongs to the family introduced in China in December 2013. Export reviews identify MT6582, four 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 cores, Mali-400 MP2, a 5-inch 720p screen and 2 GB / 8 GB memory. The early China report lists 1 GB or 2 GB RAM and 4 GB storage, so later export specifications do not overwrite every launch version. The exact initial announcement day remains open. The UK’s November 2014 event and planned shipping date are separate.

Replaceable battery and separate cards

The 140 g, 9.2 mm plastic handset has a removable rear, replaceable battery and independent microSD holder. Export reviews use two MicroSIMs, with primary 3G and secondary GSM; the original H30-U10 guide specifies WCDMA plus GSM standby. The later Kirin 910 Honor 3C 4G and 3C Play remain distinct.

An autofocus 8 MP rear, single LED, 5 MP front and reviewed 1080p30 capture cover the basics. India review f/2.0 versus the early China report’s f/2.2 remains unresolved. Reviewed Android 4.2.2 / Emotion UI 2.0 offers themes, simple home and glove mode. The guide confirms Bluetooth transfer, Wi-Fi Direct, MTP and headset-antenna FM, without establishing a Bluetooth version, OTG or fast charging. A 2300 mAh battery, top 3.5 mm jack, bottom microUSB and rear mono speaker reflect its period. Original attributed photographs retain their source framing.
