Dates and versions
Announced 2010-06-07; first retail availability 2010-06-24. The date field uses that first retail day, not the announcement.
Radio specifications here describe the launch GSM A1332. The later CDMA A1349 has different SIM and radio arrangements. Storage records the launch 16/32 GB line-up; later lower-capacity editions do not change that baseline. The white version reached sale after the initial black version.
RAM and labelled battery capacities use the linked physical inspections; Apple does not specify those values in these public sheets. Manufacturer battery-life figures are laboratory maximums, not measurements of an aged handset.
